Green Island, off the coast of Taitung, is a favorite dive destination for many locals.  The island is volcanic in nature and the rock formations, both above and below the water are stunning.  Surrounded by coral reefs and pinnacles, there is no shortage of amazing dive sites with a huge variety of sea life. 

Above the water, there is a former prison to tour, a saltwater hot spring (one of only 3 in the world), and fishing villages to check out.  Touring the island on motorbike is a must-do for all visitors.  See if you can spot any of the island's deer on your drive!
